CO2 “KISS ME DEADLY” WORLD TOUR

The VAMPIRE SQUID* of Wall Street present the CO2 reunion tour, two million years in the making.

In 2022, the world’s 60 biggest banks were lending and underwriting the fossil fuel sector at levels comparable to 2016. But reality rarely fashions a ripple on the surface of the exclusive ponds where luxury consumers in the developed world wallow, as the vampire squid slowly turn up the heat.

Young manipulated a stock video of the financial district skyline in downtown Manhattan, morphing Wall Street into an alluring LVMH worthy “it” squid. The inclusion of “Kiss Me Deadly,” the provocative film noir, loops the piece into the pop-cultural ecosystem, mimicking a classic move by the master of luxury marketing, Bernard Arnault.

*Rolling Stone, famously referred to Goldman Sachs as a VAMPIRE SQUID in their 2008 piece on the financial crisis.
